999

From UK

Listed under : Punk 1976-1980

A great live band, full of energy and stage fun. Formed in December 1976. Some great classics from the group such as 'Emergency', 'Homocide', 'I'm Alive', 'Nasty Nasty' and 'Feeling Alright With The Crew".

    The line up
  • Nick Cash (Keith Lucas) : Singer/composer
  • Guy Days : Guitar/Vocals
  • Pablo Labritain : Drums
  • Arturo Bassick : Bass/Vocals

Gram Linds 2003 : Much underated "punk" new wave band, they came out of 1977 with good ideas and image, released several great singles and a few decent albums before the 80's kicked in.

Quickly dismissed in England by fast moving trends in the punk scene, the band eventually tried the American market, with initial success.

The 80's kicked in proper and 999 find competition from newer English acts in the USA, U2 and Simple Minds, Billy Idol/Psychedelic Furs et all from the latest wave. Still gigging in the new millenium and fair play to em.
