Born as Robert Nesta Marley at Nine Miles, Saint Ann's, Jamaica in 1945 and stolen in 1981.

Colin : No other artist with the exception of John Lennon embodied such a high degree of righteousness. Freedom, hope, faith, revolution, love, and compassion were the foundations of his music. His image, words and music are never far away when crimes of discrimination and oppression occur. Sadly he passed away in 1981 from cancer but his symbol and spirit live on today.
