Fleetwood Mac

From

Listed under : Pop Rock 1970-1980

Altough the band began in the mid 60's, it wasn't until ten years later that their impact came. They have stired much emmotion of a few decades, songs such as Go your own way, Sara, Chain...

  • Christine McVie
  • Ken Caillat
  • Richard
  • Dashut (II)
  • John McVie
  • Lindsey Buckingham
  • Stevie Nicks
  • Mick Fleetwood

Bart Milligan : Awsome chemistry between these five people. As Lindsey Buckingham described it "the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts..."
Each member is talanted enough on their own, but together they are unstoppable.

stevie B : At one point, long before Rumours of Buckingham and Nicks, Fleetwood Mac were the biggest blues band in Britain. Their guitarist of the time, Peter Green was an introspective man who would later quit and give up his fame and money for a quieter life (similar to Cat Stevens in the 70's).

Green was a guitar hero in Britain and had earlier replaced Eric Clapton after he left John Mayall's Bluesbreakers to form Cream. He played in the Chicago style and was amply supported by originals Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and later guitarist Danny Kirwin and Keyboardistsinger Christine McVie
