Cocker, Joe

From UK

Listed under : Rock

Little bit of help from my Friends at Woodstock was one of the festival highlights, I've seen him a few times in concert during the last few years. Incredible.

Bob : Joe Cocker comes from Sheffield, Yorkshire and before music became his life he was a gas fitter. I come from the same city and saw Joe many times during his early years playing in pubs etc in Sheffield. One of which was The Black Swan (known locally as The Mucky Duck) and whenever Joe Cocker and the Grease Band were on the place was always packed. Joe has earned his place in the history of rock music.
