Could place Patti Smith in the Punk category, but I could do with your opinions...

I last saw Patti Smith in 1978 in what was then the Top Rank - that was good. But last night surpassed that in all ways. What a gig! What a woman! - it was like, truly inspirational, but not religious if you know what I mean. Her energy, power, rawness, all there, but better. If anyone out there reads this and you get a chance to see the Patti Smith Band, do it. I'm buzzing, not very often that I get a natural high that goes on for long. Apparently, so she said {and I really want to believe it} Cardiff was not on gig list and she asked for it to be added. Thank you Patti. As my friend said last night - don't know what to listen to after that, don't care if I don't listen to anything else....

Thanks for a space to tell someone else about last night, apart from my mates I was with, and my work colleagues .
