I discovered Tom Waits too many years too late. This is not folk or punk, but the best thing you can imagine between. At first you dislike the voice, but then... you realize that this is simply PURE music and poetry. Listen to his song "Hold on", I'm very sure you'll catch on. Then listen to the album Alice. No matter what your age, likes or dislikes you must listen to this guy.
