OK, we've sorted out the problem with the voting system with regards to our Meatloaf fans, so things look a bit more reasonable, spent hours going through the logs...

We've added a RSS news feed concerning the Voting status for all the Groups and Artists.
You can access the file at RSS news feed. Hopefully we've got the format correctly set up, any comments would be helpful.

Conversion of the dynamic pages to static pages for pages referring to bands and singers. Hopefully this will improve the popularity in the search engines. So finally you can access pages like this "http://www.history-of-rock-music.com/artist/jimi-hendrix.php"

We've renewed the voting system, after many suggestions from visitors. As such, it will have a more realistic representation of your opinions. You can now vote by grading artists and albums, with a value between 5 (best) and -5 (least). As such all the voting has been reset to zero. Just for information Nirvana were voted best group and best album with Nevermind.

Thanks to all the help you've been giving, I'm still clearing up bugs on some of the pages, especially the TYPOs !!!

Please keep on adding comments and albums, I could do with help for defining the Rock ages i.e. How, why, when and what is Grunge start.

Don't forget to give ideas for the Polls and use the Forums.

I've just rebuilt the website from zero, after a year of using a PostNuke site. It became too complicated to change the Nuke code, so I've rebuilt from scratch. I wanted to add the best rock albums, add voting for all groups and albums, plus have the ability to divide the Rock ages into groups and sub groups.

Hence the complete change to the site. All the information from the previous version of the site has been kept and the data will be included ASP. There are quite a few bugs with groups and artist being listed in the wrong time period, I'll correct them very soon.

I'll rebuild the links page as soon as possible, and connect up with the other sites that have been linking to us.

The site now uses the Phorum forum which is great to install and modify. I'll be adding forum themes soon

The albums section is very empty at the moment, so please add stuff...

Anyhow, hope you enjoy this version.
